5 July 2024 — G/TFA/N/BHR/4Bahrain Customs Affairs has demonstrated its commitment to facilitating trade by implementing advanced rulings. The advance ruling application has been made easily accessible to the public through various channels.Firstly, the advance ruling application its displayed on the Customs Affairs website, allowing interested parties to initiate the application process with ease. Additionally, the department has leveraged the power of social media platforms to disseminate information about advanced rulings, ensuring wider reach and engagement. Furthermore, the new Customs clearance system, known as OFOQ2, has brought about further enhancements. This system features a dedicated window specifically designed for advanced rulings, providing a streamlined and efficient process for customs clearance. By incorporating advanced rulings within this new system, Bahrain Customs has taken significant strides towards ensuring transparency in customs procedures. |
