Operation of the single window

The Brunei Darussalam National Single Window (BDNSW) was launched in February 2013. The national system aims to facilitate trade by providing a single point for traders to submit standardized documents for legal import, export and customs-transit requirements for customs clearance of traded goods. The system provides an end-to-end process (application and approval) on the following areas, not limited to:

• registration of trader or forwarding agents
• import / export permit
• customs import/export declaration
• online duty payment
• customs revenue system
• customs inspection and clearance
• online manifest submission
• certificate of origin
• tariff and classification database
