Establishment of Laboratories to undertake testing for all Perishable Goods at all the customs zones. Development of the existing laboratories and acquisition of equipment for the expedited release of those goods. Training of the Laboratories staff on the use of international best practices. Establishment of an electronic networking to link the laboratories with all the related agencies and to link them with the Customs Authority. |

3 May 2024 — G/TFA/N/EGY/4- USDA TAIB project contracted experts to provide specialized training programs for NFSA inspectors regarding the use of latest methods, techniques and percentages for sampling at the border for laboratory testing.- This article was fully implemented on 30 September 2023 according to Egypt's notification G/TFA/N/EGY/1/Add.1 dated 17 November 2023 ahead of the notified definitive date of 31 December 2025. |
