Extension of time	Request received 30 August 2019 Original definitive date 31 March 2020 New date requested 31 March 2023 Date approved 31 March 2023 Reason Jamaica wishes to notify that, based on Articles 17 and 19 of the Agreement on Trade Facilitation, the following provisions are requested to be shifted from category B to category C with extended definitive implementation dates as, further to an internal assessment, it was recognized that as the provisions listed below cover areas that will require the development of new processes and procedures, external support will be required to build the requisite capacity in order to implement these provisions. Shift	Shift from Cat. B to Cat. C notification.
Assistance required for implementation	Technical Assistance and Capacity Building (TACB) is required for the following: i. IT system gap analysis and possible modifications/add-ons; ii. Consultancy to help develop appropriate procedures for the development, implementation and maintenance of inward and outward processing; iii.
