Liberia

Operation of the single window

The Government of Liberia has officially signed the contract with UNCTAD for the establishment of the National Single Window, and the project is currently in the implementation phase. All relevant government institutions and key stakeholders are actively participating in the implementation process to ensure the successful deployment of the system. In support of this initiative, the Liberia Revenue Authority (LRA) is currently upgrading the ASYCUDA World system to ensure its seamless integration with the National Single Window, thereby enhancing customs automation, improving inter-agency coordination, reducing cargo clearance times, and facilitating more efficient and transparent trade procedures. Furthermore, confirmation has been received that the contract for the establishment of the Trade Information Portal will be signed this month of July. Similar to the National Single Window, the Trade Information Portal is being supported by the World Bank through the Liberia Investment Finance and Trade Project (LIFT-P).
