Reason
Due to COVID-19 pandemic as well as global supply-chain and shipping disruptions, the country has been facing challenges in implementing planned trade facilitation actions. A 2-year technical assistance programme on strengthening post clearance audit will be implemented in collaboration with WCO-CCF Japan. In this regard, a WCO mission visited Mongolia in August 2022 to evaluate the current stance and draft an action plan. It is expected that post clearance audit will be strengthened as a result of the technical assistance programme.
