Assistance required for implementation • Establishing adequate testing facilities regarding Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) (coordinated by MoA)
• Establishment of adequate testing facilities regarding Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT) measures (coordinated by the Suriname Bureau of Standards):
 Specialized training to carry out this task in order to accredit laboratories
 Legal/Policy: Develop relevant laws and policies for agencies Human Resources/Training: Capacity building for relevant border agencies, laboratory technicians and academic institutions on secondary testing.
 Institutions: Technical assistance and capacity building is needed for academic institutions, public and private laboratories to provide second testing.
• Infrastructure/Equipment: Establishment of accredited laboratory/laboratories to undertake second testing.
