Elle n'applique de droits d'accise que sur quatre types de produits (à savoir boissons alcooliques, tabac, hydrocarbures et alcool méthylique). Il n'y a pas de traitement différencié en ce qui concerne les droits d'accise perçus sur les produits manufacturés passibles de droits, qu'ils soient locaux ou importés.
